Jay Schneider is a Vice President at Riverwood Capital. Prior to joining Riverwood, Jay was the CFO of Scratch, a financial technology company based in San Francisco. Prior to Scratch, Jay was a Vice President at Francisco Partners, a technology-focused private equity firm. While at Francisco Partners, he executed a number of transactions, with a primary focus on financial technology, healthcare technology, and enterprise software. Prior to Francisco Partners, he was an Associate at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, where he was a member of the technology and energy industry groups. Jay started his career at UBS Investment Bank in Los Angeles, where he executed a number of leveraged finance and M&A advisory transactions.
Jay holds an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arbuckle Leadership Fellow. Jay graduated from Pomona College, where he majored in Economics, minored in English, and was a member of the men’s varsity soccer team.
