Caitlin Mitchell is a Director at Riverwood Capital, focused on Marketing and Communications. Prior to Riverwood, Caitlin was most recently Managing Director of Marketing and Communications for EMPEA, the global industry association for private capital in emerging markets. While there she helped lead an integration with LAVCA, the Association for Private Capital Investment in Latin America, where she served as Chief Communications Officer. Caitlin has also held roles at financial public relations agencies Cognito and Prosek Partners supporting clients ranging from large financial institutions such as Citigroup, Nomura Research Institute, and Franklin Templeton to PE-backed fintech startups to develop global public relations and marketing strategies.
Caitlin has a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations, with a minor in business marketing, from the State University of New York at Fredonia, is an experienced media trainer, and has completed Securities Industry and Series 7 training courses.
Kristin Reilly is a Managing Director at Riverwood Capital, focused on Investor Relations and Marketing. Prior to joining Riverwood, Kristin was Head of Investor Relations at CapitalSpring, an alternative investment firm. Before joining CapitalSpring, Kristin was based in London and responsible for international investor relations at GoldenTree Asset Management, a credit-focused alternative asset manager. Previously, Kristin worked in the research division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch and started her career in the Audit division of Arthur Andersen.
Kristin holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS from Boston College.
Sophia Lee is the Operations Controller and a Senior Vice President at Riverwood Capital. Prior to Riverwood, Sophia served as Controller and VP of Finance at various software companies in the Bay Area. Sophia started her professional career at Arthur Andersen LLP in both the Taiwan and San Jose offices, where she provided auditing and consulting services to manufacturing and technology companies for five years.
Sophia obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in National Taiwan University, a Master of Science in Accounting at Oklahoma City University, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mei Liang is the Financial Controller and a Senior Vice President at Riverwood Capital. Prior to joining Riverwood, Mei worked in corporate finance at various high-tech companies, including Flextronics, focused in the areas of external reporting, technical account and internal controls compliance. She also spent several years at Arthur Andersen working in the firm’s assurance and business advisory practice.
Mei is a certified public account and she received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Santa Clara University.
Lisa Wong is the Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel at Riverwood Capital, responsible for administering the firm’s compliance program and overseeing legal matters. Prior to Riverwood, she was Head of U.S. Legal and Compliance at Pantheon Ventures, a private equity fund manager. Prior to that, she was a business transactions attorney at Baker & McKenzie.
Lisa earned a J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law, and a B.A. from UC Davis.
Don Standley is a Senior Vice President at Riverwood. Prior to joining Riverwood, Don was Senior Vice President of Corporate Taxation at Flextronics, a company doing business in over 50 countries and which had revenues of over $30 billion. Prior to Don’s tenure at Flextronics, he was a Director in Deloitte’s Denver office, where he had regional responsibility for the international tax practice. Don has extensive experience in corporate, partnership, and international taxation and has advised on hundreds of acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings in numerous countries.
Don earned a B.B.A. degree with a concentration in Finance from Lamar University.
