Menlo Park, CA – Riverwood Capital, a growth equity firm focused on technology companies in need of capital and expertise to scale on a global basis, today announced it has completed the sale of Forecast5 Analytics (“Forecast5”), a leader in decision support and data analytics software to the K-12 education sector, to Frontline Education, a leading provider of school administration software, backed by Thoma Bravo. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Since partnering with Riverwood in 2018, Forecast5 has expanded its product suite, its national reach, and its capabilities to serve more clients at scale by investing significantly in both organic and inorganic growth. Forecast5 now offers a suite of decision support software that provides financial forecasting, benchmarking, student performance dashboards, and geovisual analytics across over 2,000 clients.
