Mac Hofeditz

Mac Hofeditz is Managing Director, Capital Formation at Riverwood Capital. For over 35 years, Mac has served as an adviser and fundraiser in the private equity industry, covering a wide variety of investment strategies and opportunities. Since 2001, he has helped raise over $40 billion of capital commitments across approximately 90 private equity funds, many of which have become top-performing vehicles in the industry.

Prior to joining Riverwood, Mac was a Managing Director and Head of Fundraising and Investor Relations at Vector Capital Management. Previously, he founded and led the Private Funds Group for GCA Advisors (now Houlihan Lokey) and was also a founding team member and Partner at Probitas Partners, joining at its inception in 2001.

Mac graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a B.A. in Political Science.
