Rick Smolen is an Executive Advisor to Riverwood Capital where he serves as a part-time consultant for the firm and its portfolio. He is also currently the SVP of Sales at Loopio, a SaaS business focused on automating RFPs. Rick is a passionate and results focused revenue leader with over 20 years of experience in technology and enterprise software sales. As the Head of Sales at Greenhouse Software, Rick oversaw the company tripling its annual recurring revenue in under three years to over $65M. Before Greenhouse, Rick spent over a decade at Intralinks in a range of Sales, Sales Leadership, and international roles helping the company to grow to over $300M in annual sales. Rick has extensive experience helping companies transform their customer engagement approach and process, resulting in more successful and scalable customer facing teams.

Rick studied Finance at Penn State University and is an avid reader and runner.
