Earlier in his career, Shant was an M&A banker at J.P. Morgan; a member of the investment team at Comdisco Ventures, where he gained extensive restructuring experience during the “dotcom” crash; an early member of a credit opportunities fund that grew to $2.5 billion; and an investment professional at a family office that co-invested alongside prominent private equity funds.
